1. Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing

Security & Fraud Prevention Monitoring of addresses to prevent you from interacting with fraudulent accounts. We also process biometric data to facilitate secure sign-ins and transaction approvals related to your self-custodial wallet. Use of Third-Party Services To provide our services efficiently and securely, we rely on various external service providers. These include providers of hosting, analytics, authentication, app distribution, and transaction infrastructure. For details on our subprocessors and independent providers, see Sections 5 and 6. Analytics and App Usage Understanding app usage through Google Firebase. Firebase collects pseudonymized technical data (e.g., screen views, session duration, device type) to help improve app performance and usability. No identifiable personal data such as name or email is collected. Users may opt out by disabling analytics in the app settings.   1. Provide and Maintain Our Services: Manage your account, process transactions, facilitate the creation of your self-custodial wallet, and enable portfolio management.
  2. Send Notifications and Newsletters: Use your email to send service notifications, updates, and newsletters. You can turn off newsletters and non-essential notifications at any time in your account settings.
  3. Facilitate Secure Access and Transactions: Use biometric data, when enabled, to verify your identity for signing in and approving transactions. Biometric data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored by Moneda.
